Sometimes, you don’t want your panels to drastically change the aesthetics of your indoor space, and that is when micro-perforated acoustic panels are a great option.

Micro-perforated acoustic panels typically have perforations that are 0.5mm to 0.7mm wide. These tiny perforations are usually numerous to achieve the sound control you want – up to 90,000 tiny holes per m2.. Even though they aren’t that noticeable from a normal viewing distance, they have a significant and profound effect on how soundwaves behave when they reach the surface of the panel. When soundwaves hit a flat, nonporous wall, much of the sound wave is reflected, amplifying the sound and creating an echo effect. Micro-perforated acoustic panels allow this sound to be absorbed and dissipated, especially when they have acoustic fabric installed on the back of the paneling.
